This Italian restaurant, housed in what used to be The Pineapple pub, is a little gem! The food is absolutely delicious, the staff are friendly, polite and efficient. The waitress dealt with my food allergy with ease, got the chef to amend a recipe, and served me the most beautiful dish I’ve ever tasted.

We tried La Capanna for the first time on Saturday and had a lovely evening. The wide range of pizzas catered for vegetarians and non-vegetarians and were all perfect. We were made very welcome by the manager and all the serving team. Definitely going back!

Great surprise! Burrata, parmigiana, orecchiette, lasagna, tiramisù etc right in the countryside of newbury. We had a warm welcome and a lovely service. The Italian chef is great and the courses very tasty. They were all very friendly with my little girl and looked after her and us really well. We will definitely come again!
